Past Announcements
January 13, 2024:
W0CHP, the developer of the WPSD dashboard for the MMDVM hotspots, has removed our YSF reflectors from the list of reflectors within that dashboard. This is a serious dick move by them! To circumvent this blatant censorship, we created a duplicate YSF reflector that will hopefully show up on the list. See the "Network & Repeater Info" section for more information. You may need to update your hosts files to see the new reflector on your copy of the WPSD dashboard. Details about this new reflector could change if the developer of that dashboard decides to play games with us.
October 28, 2023: Relocated past announcements to it's own page & I added a donations page too.
June 1, 2023: Happy Pride Month, everyone!
May 29, 2023: Thanks to the help of an anonymous donor, the Australian hub is back online and the entire network is fully operational again as it was before the outage. The bridging will no longer need to be transferred to me. Many thanks to the donor for their assistance at restoring this network back to normal operation, you know who you are and you are awesome! - KJ7OMO
May 27, 2023:
While transferring the DMR bridge to my system, I ran into some serious issues. All DMR connections are offline until I am able to fix the issues that prevent the new bridge from working. - KJ7OMO
The Australian hub of the Pride Radio Network is offline until further notice due to the hub owner being unable to afford server hosting. We're looking at options to bring our Australian friends back on the air. In the mean time, please use all reflectors and nodes of the US hub to connect to this network. This outage does not effect DMR, IRLP and the Echolink PRIDE conference as they run on completely separate systems.
April 22, 2023: We have added Zello as another method to connect to our network. Do note that this is very experimental at the moment and may have issues from time to time, but so far, our testing shows that it's stable and working great, let's hope it stays that way. See "Network & Repeater Info" for more information.
April 12, 2023: The US part of our network has migrated to a new server host. Please update your hosts files on your hotspots or other devices to continue accessing this network via the US nodes and reflectors.
April 1, 2023: Due to ongoing hardware and network issues, we have dropped support for the Peanut network for the time being. We will one day reconnect our network to Peanut when we have better network and hardware or if PA7LIM gives us a USRP connection to Peanut, which would solve all of our issues. But for now, to save us all from headaches, we pulling the plug on Peanut.
March 13, 2023: The net schedule has been updated. Also, we are no longer carrying the Young Amateurs Radio Club Digital Voice Net.
February 28, 2023: Some minor website changes, expanded the "about" page a bit.
February 12, 2023: It appears some networks, especially school and library networks, are blocking the web transceiver due to their systems red flagging my DNS provider. An alternate link has been provided to hopefully get around this problem.
January 24, 2023: A web transceiver has been added! Do note that it's listen only by default and transmitting requires authorization. See "Network & Repeater Info" for more information.
January 15, 2023: A new D-Star reflector has been added to the network! Check out the network list for more information.
January 8, 2023: Peanut, by PA7LIM, is now available on our network! Our connection to Peanut is currently experimental using 44net as a way to connect to their network and although it seems to be working, things could possibly go wrong. We will make adjustments if and when necessary to keep things working. Let us know if you encounter any problems and we'll try our best to fix any issues that may arise.
December 16, 2022: (Resolved as of March 13, 2023) Attention DMR users! The bridge for TGIF TG 2969 is currently offline and we have no idea when we're able to fix this broken connection. In the mean time, please use the FreeDMR or FreeSTAR options listed or enable cross mode into YSF reflector (on Pi-Star, it's DMR2YSF). We're sorry for this inconvenience. We'll try to get the TGIF connection working ASAP.
December 11, 2022: The "M17-OMO A" reflector should be back online and working again. Please let us know if the reflector goes down again.
October 27, 2022: Fixed a huge mistake in the net schedule.
